What the I-15/Limonite Interchange Project Means For Businesses

The County of Riverside is proposing the improvement of the Limonite Interchange along Interstate 15… what does this mean for business owners?

The construction plan for the interchange consists of a new 8-lane crossing, 3 through lanes in each direction including 2 turn lanes. The project will take the current 2 lane off ramps to 4 lanes, the addition of 2 new loop on ramps, and the widening of Limonite to 4 lanes in each direction between Hamner Avenue and Wineville Avenue. Eastvale and Jurupa Valley are expected to expand with new residences and businesses in the upcoming years due to the opening of Costco, The Goodman Center, and new housing neighborhoods, resulting in the need for a wider ramps for the additional traffic.

The estimated construction cost for the Limonite Interchange Project is sitting at about $48,000,000, but what does this mean if you’re a business owner in the surrounding area?

The City of Eastvale, Eastvale Chamber of Commerce, City of Jurupa Valley, and Jurupa Valley Chamber of Commerce are partnering up to host a ‘Business Workshop‘ on June 5th to discuss the project overview, impacts to businesses, a business support plan, and communication plans for businesses.
